Nutrition Education
I wrote this blog for the course Disseminating Nutrition Information. In my blog I assess nutrition blogs covering different nutritional topics and how well their blogs educate readers on nutrition.
My blog also includes a link to a Journal Summary I wrote about a research article regarding a program to prevent childhood obesity.
Also, my blog includes a progress report made my group and I for a project. The project involves creating a lesson plan and presentation to teach our target audience, a senior hispanic church group, about fiber and fat in their diets.
Overall, this blog allowed me to practice my skills regarding nutrition education and learn how to properly give factual and relevant nutrition education to different populations.
BROCHURE
Nutrition Education
I created this brochure with the target audience of low-income families. I conducted a needs assessment and used research articles to create a brochure that would be helpful to the population. With the information I found I created a brochure on how to grocery shop on a budget.
